Welcome to the Verve Energy Port to Point!
The Verve Energy Port to Point is proudly supported by WA's biggest generation company, Verve Energy, which owns and operates the Albany Wind Farm and is a model for sustainability.
Event Date: Sunday 30th October 2011
The Verve Energy Port to Point is a long-running, community event held annually that dates back to 1977. This year’s event includes two distances; the 10km Run and a 4.5km Walk or Run.
The 10km Verve Energy Port to Point run begins at ANZAC Peace Park and makes its way up York Street to StirlingTerrace, continues along Brunswick Street and winds its way along a scenic but challenging coastal path to a well deserved finish at Emu Point. This year it will also include the 4.5km Walk or Run which is open to those who still want to be active but are not up for the challenge of the main event. There are also plenty of prizes to be won and a great time to be enjoyed by all so start your training today!
All money fundraised by the Verve Energy Port to Point will be donated to the Albany Youth Support Association and the Albany PCYC. to learn more click here.
